• THE MILK SUPPLY. The Wellington Hospital and Charifc able Aid Board met yesterday afternoon, those present being Messrs. F. Castle 'in the chair), J.-.Smith. A. J; M'Curdy, F. T. Moore.: J.. M'Vicar, Aitken. and Snow. It was announced that Messrs. Strand Bros., dairymen.' of Lower Hutt, were irillins ■to suuplv tha institution with : -imlk' for a further vear. The house steward reported that the corporation milk was not to he compared with that supplied by Strands, and lie did not consider it advisable to make n change and receive milk from the municipal I authorities. The change would mean tat extra cost of from ,£475 to ,£SOO per iinmun. The cast of milk for the Hospital last year was- <£2251, and for this vear was estimated to cost .£2BIO. When this announcement was read Mr. I\' T.
