SHUNTING ACCIDENT.
COLLISION AT AUCKLAND STATION.; .By Telegraph—Props Association. Auckland. March 25. During: shunting operations at tho 'Auckland railway station at ono o'clock, this morning a poods van collided with ' two stationary trains through running oil the wrong line. A concrete stophlock, about forty tons in weight, .was carried about right feet arid .'deposited on -the station platform, A van mounted' tho Mock and crashed through th& • verandah, causing a big-gap, bearing "tho iron asunder. The stationary vans were partially telescoped, the bogie wheels torn off one of thom . and the undergear wrecked. Tho accident, presumably, was.due'to <1 mistake in signals or Getting tho points.
