KING'S THEATRE. "A Burglar for a Night." a stirring production, starring J. Warren Kerrigan, will bo screened for the Inst timo I to-night at the King's Theatre. Mrs, J. P. Woodward, soprano, will also make her farewell appearance. "WITH SHACKLETON IN ANTARCTICA." • Scenes, taken by the motion picture photographer, Captain Frank Hurley, with the last Sliackleton Expedition will bo shown in wonderful variety in (ho remarkable film, "With Shaekleton in Antarctica," which will be introduced at the King's to-morrow evening. Life in the terrible frost-clad regions is presented with extraordinary vividness, and the tragic end of the exploration •siiip Endurance, which was crushed by the pack ice, provides the most educational episode, in the series. The'thrilling story of v their journey to Elephant Island, Sir Ernest Shacklefon's wonderful boat voyage to South Georgia, and the eventual rescue of the whole party is told during llio screening of the filnf bv llr. Georgo Dean, Captain Hurley's asociate lecturer. A full supporting programme will be shown in addition. The King's Orchestra of ten musicians will play as an ent'racte "Peer'Gynt Suite" (Greig). Mr. Rupert Meates, basso, will bo heard in a well-chosen repertoire of vocal, items.

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. , "Put Up Your Hands," which will be ■ finally screened at Everybody's Theatre to-night, is a delightful comedy-drama in which a young girl who knows how to "put 'em up" goes out with her father in search of adventure. Margarita Fisher gives a fine portrayal of a young athletic girl with plenty of dash and spirits. The last screenings are announced for "Ginger," and the fourth chapter of the ' "Man of Might." Commencing to-mor-row, the delightful child actress, Madge Evans,, will be seen in "Home Wanted," produced under the direction of Tefft • Johnson from a story by Lucy Sarvn. Little Miss. Evans gives n charming performance as the orphan who runs away in search of a mother. This pretty romance is full of sympathy and appeal. Tho play is well cast and beautifully mounted. The fifth chapter of the "Man of Might," entitled "The Human Shield," will .also be presented, and the latest Pathe Gazette and Gaumont News. Vaudeville trtals at grand opera house. Attractive prizes are offered for the vaudeville trials to be held at the Grand Opera House on Saturday next, under the management of Mr. Vernon Spencer. Record entries have been received. The audience 11 is to judge who wins tho p'ize money,.and every competitor i.? promised fair treatment. Some of the' competitors are breaking new ground, and there will bo quite a faw "novelty turns" and "stunts." The Jazz Orchestra will be in attendance. The box plan is now open .at the Bristol, where seats may be '■<>- scrved without any extra charge. Mr. Vernon Spencer is still receiving entries at Bos 1195.
