GILBY'S COLLEGE ANNUAL PICNIC
The first annual picnic of Gilby's College wns held yesterday «■$ Days Bay, the weather conditions 'being ideal. Over sixty day students attended tho gathering, and a very enjoyable day was spent. A programme of sports was gone through, an<l bathing ■Indulged in. Following aro the names of the winners of the various races:— Three-legged race: Winny ■Jackson and Thnlin-a. Polmor 1 and Olive M'Duff and Alice Edwards (equal), 1; Tlielma Sands and Dulcio Turner, 3. 50yds. sprint (girls): Sylvia Wilkening.l; Dolly Dyson, 2. 50vds.sprint (boys): Harold Dyson, 1; Eric 'Godber, 2. Belay race: Dolly Dyson, Olive M'Duff, May M.'Donald, and Edna Herbert, 1; Dulrie Turner, Alice Edwards, Olive Jonkins, and Ada Newman 2.'
