WHEAT REGULATIONS

Regulations fixing tho price <f wheat for the 1919-20 season and providing for tho sale' and purchase, of wheat through the Government brokers were issued last night. Tho prices fixed are those announced recently by the Minister of Agriculture, and the conditions of sale are (lioso of last year with slight modifications.

The regulations provide that on or before .Tune 7,next every grower of wheat shall make to the Wheat Controller a return show ins bis holdings of wheat on May 31. Flour millers are required to make returns showing their probable requirements of wheat for the ensuing year and their carry-over stocks on March 31. All deals in wheat are to bo reported to the Wheat Controller and millers are to furnish monthly returns. The new regulations do not apply to old wheat of the sensons 1917-18 and 191819, which remains under the iemulations for those years'.
