BEQUEST FOE PHOTOGRAPHS. Mr. Colebatch; Minister of Education of West Australia, lias received from Vienna a remarkable letter from one Krauss, who describes himself as a professor of anthropology. Krauss appeals to the High Director of Instruction in West Australia, as a connoisseur of feminine beauties, for photographs of several hundred* of the most lienutiful women in tho State. He nivalis to niblish, in six volumes, with 20(10 portrait*, an illustrated catalogue of the beauties of nil the countries. The Indies must be of irreproachable, character, of respectable society, and of beauty that has moved singers, writers, and composers to enthusiasm. The collection, tho professor adds, should also inclndo costii.iin's and tattooing-. Photographs in the nude are not desirable, unless they ore artistic or tvpicnl. • ' Mr. Colebatch, without referring to Cabinet, declined the reanest, as he staled that ho was not qualified in coiinoisanirship. '
