EMPRESS THEATRE. While there is nothing about Judge Ben Lindsay, the famous Judge of tl» Denver Juvenile Court in "Ginger," tha new World picture, which is now being screened at the Empress Theatre, the character of Judge Trowbridge in this production- is .strongly suggestive, of Judge Lindsay. Judge Trowbridgo's, interest . in tho young people who coins into his court and his efforts to niak".' their lives more of a success are vei-v. much along the lines of work done by Judge Lindsay.
KING'S TIIEATEE, An orchestral matinee will be given at the 'King's Theatre to-dny at 2.15, wliojiJ. Warren Kerrigan will'be seen in the sensational drama entitled "A Burglar for a Night." Besides telling a splendid .etory, tho pliotojraphy is verv fine and the setting highly pleasin?. The King's Orchestra, under the eondiictovslii.p of Mr. T. J). Austin, will lie heard ':'n Verdi's "11 Trovatore," and several other fine selections. , Mrs. .T. F. Woodward, soprano, gives a pleasing rendering of "Rosebuds," "Lilac .Domino," and "On Miami Shore."
EVERYBODY'S 1 THEATRE. "Put TJp Your Hands," which is showing at Everybody's Theatre, is not a Wild Wort picture of hold-ups, etc., but a delightful comedy-drama in which .« youiifr cirl who knows how to "put 'em un" goes out with her father in search of adventure. Margarita Fishor gives n fine portravnl of a young, ntlilctio 'girl with plenty of dash and spirits'.
VAUDEVILLE TRTAXS AT GRAND OPERA HOUSE. A good deal of interest is beinsr taken in the forthcoming vaudeville (rials to lie held at tho Grand Opera House on Saturday next, under the management of Mr. Vernon Spencer.. Attractive prizn money has been offered: and record Mitrios liuve been .received. Tho audience is to who wins the prize money, mid every competitor is assured of fair treatment.
