THE GERMAN CRISIS

SANGUINARY FIGHTING

RHINE SITUATION UNCHANGED

By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright

Brussels, March 22.

The latest information from Aix la Chnpelle slates that the situation in the Rhine industrial region is unchanged. Following sanguinary fighting 'north of Neiderich, near Duishurg, the Government forces retired. The Spartacists declare that their movement is not against the armies of occupation, and have requested permission to send their wounded via Ruhrert, Which they propose should |be regarded as a neutral zone. A message from Halle, in Saxony, says tho. situation there, is considerably worse. There has been lively fighting between the troops and armed workers, and the town is reported to be surrounded by the workmen.—Seuter.
