WELLINGTON MILITARY DISTRICT MEETING

CONCLUDED ON SATURDAY

Fine weather favoured the conclusion of the Wellington Military District Hide Meeting at Trcntham on Saturday. Kicholls shot consistently diirins tluday and annexed the M'Hardy Challenge Belt in the Territorial grand acciwaio. This belt was competed for for the Ih'f time last year, and was won by Sereeaur. E. E. Hester, of Wellington. who m' third on Saturday. The Wellington Ui&trict Championship, which was open to all-comers, fell to Sapper D. Catley, of Wellington, who took the beautiful belt, which was won by Lieutenant 0. P. Wotlev, a returned soldier, in 1919.
