» PLIGHT TO THE CAPE COMPLETED. Cape Town, March 19. .Captain Van Bynevold has arrived at Bloemfontein.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. March 21, 11,45 p.m.) Cape Town, March 20. The aeroplane Voortrekker has arrived with her pilots, Colonol van IJyneveld and Lieutenant Brand. This is tlio first complete flight from England to the Capo, in which threo machines were used. The airmen were welcomed by the Governor-General and a large crowd. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. MISHAP TO ITALIAN AVIATORS. Allabahad, March 10. It is rumoured that one of the Italian aeroplanes on the Tokio flight had a forced landing in the Syrian desert, and that the aviators were taken prisoner by the Arabs and the machine dismantled. ; —Aus.-N.Z. London, March 18. Referring to the Commonwealth's refusal of a gift of nirships officials of the Air Ministry state that they are confident. that another Dominion will eagerly Accept them.—United Service.
