While all parties are still confident of winning, the Opposition stands an excellent chance of securing a major.- . ity: Mr. Hotmail's position at Cootamundi'a is not yet secure. Messrs. M'Girr and Loughlin, Labour candidates, have a long lead, while the Progressive caiMidate is running very close for the third seat. Mr. Holman's summary on the present figures gives the position of parties as ■— Nationalists 42. Labour , f 36 Progressives 8 Doubtful' I There was a poor metropolitan vote.
