Ono of the most important fixtures of the yachting season, the "-Turnbull Cup," is sot down for Saturday.- The late Mr. A 11. Turnbull was a -very .enthusiastic yachtsman! and a cup known as the Alexander iTurnbull Memorial Cup, was presented to the Port Nicholson Yacht Club 'by the executors of Mr. Turnbull's estate. " Mr. Turnbull held the office of commodore of the club for some years, and had the-yachts Bona' and lorangi and the half-rater Mini built... The cup is a sol : d silver • levin's cup valued at about fifty .guineas. It '.was originally won by Mr. Turnbull's Roirn as a championship cup in her class.' It is on view'in tho window of Messrs'.
