REMOVAL OF TJWTTBNANTGOVERNOR URGED. (Rec. March 17, 10.20 p.m.) Melbourne, March 17. A mass meeting of citizens at Port Moresby resolved to urge the removal of .Tudge Murray. lieutenant-Governor of Papua, the Administration having lost the confidence of the white resident* through their hostility to progress. It , fa suggested Mr. Stanifortb Smith, the Acting-Administrator of the _ Northern ■ Territory, should fill the position—Press Assn.
