SEATOUN SCHOOL
SEPARATE DISTRICT : APPROVED. 1 At the meeting of the Education Board festcrday, the executive placed before the board a proposal from the Worser Bay School Committee for'the establishment of a separate school district for Seatoun. The chairm'nn stated, that the transference' of the headmaster of the 1 school (Seatoun wa3' at present. 51 side | school to the Worser Bay School) had removed one difficulty. In addition to the' • new school at Seatoun. there would be 1 later on a new main school provided at ' Miramar when the present school.on the hill at Worser Bay might not' be necessary. The committee, which had made 1 the Tequest, would carry on for both, in the meantime. ' ? The request was granted.. This will mean that Seatoun -will elect its own school committee next month.
