Tho meeting also resolved;—(l) Thai the commandeer should continue unti tlio works in New Zealand are clearec of the present stocks of meat, shippim is under control, and the nroducer is ii a position to operate in the open mar kets; delegates to tlie conference shoiili iiavo a free hand in the conference de lilierai'ions on the shipping* ■' question Messrs. J. D. Hall and J. 0. Cbope should be the delegates. In regard to sending Home a eommis sion. the meeting agreed that a man spe ciall.v clioson from the Dominion becausi of his knowledge of the subject should hi selected fo act with the High Commis sionor.
