HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
,T)ie Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram; dated March U. from 'the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London :— "Moat.—No change in price for English meat or imported beef, hut from March 15 all imported mutton icill be reduced to 9d. a.nd lamb will bo increased to Is. Id. por lb. wholesale, with corresponding alteration in retail price. "Hemp.—Mn,nila- market weak,- and declining early this week, but steadier at the clojo. Present quotations for "J" grade are:—January-March shipment, £73; April-June shipment, £69. New Zealand market quiet. and steady. Hiirhpoints, February-April shipment, -sold £60: on spot quoted at £65; fair on spot. £60; Feb-ruary-April shipment, £59. ■ "Honey.—Demand was ' limited at this week's public sale; 603 packages -were offered, and only 33 sold. New Zealand cuoted- at £5 65."
