Hursthouse, a wotf-known local dentist, who has been missing since Sunday, Yesterday afternoon Superintendent Norwood, of Polico Headquarters, received advice that the missing man was seen in the' vicinity of . Penearrow on Sunday afternoon walking , in the'direction of the lighthouse. With this knowledgo a party left in a. launch 1 to search the shore in the region, and i nnother party lias proceeded over tho •ranges to Oro'ngorongo to Mr. Biddiford's ■ property. In addition, properly organ- ■■ Ised search parties have been searching the hills from York Bay towards •Miaritai. . Friends of Mr. Hursthoiiso have been informed that he was also seen by a resident in Collars' Valley, who described ■, him fairly accurately. He wa9 last seen: making across GolUn's Valley near the , beach, and a party of friends ."ire leaving to search down the Wainni Valley, i near the sea to-day. - Anyone willing to search tho lower Go-Uan's Valley to-day could do so from, Eona Bay. Mr. Hmsthouse is a man sft. llin. in height, clean shaven, 36 years, of age, of medium build, reddish complavlon and hair, with heavy eyebrows and eyelashes, a nrominent nose, and bluish-grey eyea. When last seen he was wearing a Norfolk suit of. a heather colour, with golf cap and brown military boots with rubber soles.
