Bridgomai stated that the'lntoi'-pppart-mentnl Committee on Meat Supplies had reported against the suggestion that Dominion meat companies shouM be subsidised. The Government h*d giwn no financial assistance •to any Argentine meat company, but, since August, 1915, the Board of Trade had Imtcd' works belonging to a British company : in ' Argentine, thereby reaping the profits rhich would otherwise havo gone into yriyato hands.—Renter. ' •
