The board of managers of tho Petono Technical School met oil Wednesday night. There wore present Messrs. D. M'Kcnzio (chairman), G. London, D. S. Bedingfidd, H.. Baldwin, AY. Cox, and Nicholson. On tho recommendation of the commifctee, Miss E. Mackay and Mr. Brooks wore appointed instructors m bookkeeping and shorthand a(id typing, and Jlr, A. A. Brown instructor to the machine drawing class. i A sub-committee appointed to draw up he cvllabiis and prospectus recommendd tiiat tho W.E.A. and the St. John Association bo offered the use of a ecture room; that popular monthly lectures bo inaugurated; that photographs of tho school classes bo inserted in tho prospectus; that tliero bo <111 extended syllabus of classes in tho prospectus; tiiat a foreword as drawn up by Messrs. London and Bediiigficld be incorporated iu tho prospcctusj that tho director bo empowered to procure books of refeienco to tho value of £10; that suitable stationery bo obtained for the school; and that it be a recommendation that the school bo open to parents on certain nights.
