SAN FRANCISCO TO HONG-KONG
AMERICA CONSTRUCTING A HUGE TRIPLANE (By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright New York, March 10. It is understood tlmt the Navy Department will begin the construction of a huse triulane to attempt a flight from San Francisco to Hong-Kong, stopping ut Honolulu, Wake Island, Guam, and Manila. It will be equipped with nine Liberty motors capable of developing 3500 horsc-nower, will have- a 140-foot wine-spread, G7ft. hulls, carrying a crow of sixteen men and a total, load of thirty tons.
