ST. PATRICK'S DAY
A meeting was held Inst evening to make final preparations for the celebration of St. Patrick's Day next, Wednesday. .. The reports from various subcommittees indicated that everything .was well in hand. The athletic events will be most interesting, as n large number of entries has toon received. The tug-of-war entries ensure .in interesting competition. Tho surprise packet scheme is under tho d'rection of Mr. C..J. Pfnft. The tea kiosk will be under the direction of Mesdames Ivcogh and P, Moloney. A feature of the day will ho the procession, which will assemble at Boukott Street ond proceed to Newtown Park through tho principal streets. Tho Natives Association Band mul the Pipers' Band have been engaged for the day. The concert programme is one of Hie best yet arranged, and lovers of national music are assured of an enjoyable evening.
