NEW ZEALAND BOARD MEETS. .By Telegraph—Press Association.. Christchurch, March 10. At a meeting of the Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association the programme for the Forbury Winter Meeting was approved, but the club's attention was drawn to the proximity of 'the date of the Ashbuton Meeting. It was decided to congratulate the Taranaki Trotting Club on the success pf its inaugural meeting, and to support its claim for a totulisator permit. In connection with the disqualification of W. Brown by the Tiuiaru Trotting Club for obviously pulling Theseus, and Brown's appeal against the disqualification, it was decided lu turn for a full report and to ask also whether the sentence imposed was sufficient for such an oflence. The board decided to accept as satisfactory the explanation of tho owner (R. J. Stone) and She .trainer (W. Warren) regarding the scratching o! Gleaming at the Forbury Meeting.
