RECOMMENDATIONS OF CONFERENCE.

The Statistical Conference recommends ; thot the Imperial Council should be ; incorporated under Royal Charter, with the Prime Minister of England ex-officio , president. The United Kingdom should ; nominate ton members, Inda, and the- i self-governing Dominions two each, and the colonies and protectorates two. The ' Council suggests the creation of a permanent advisory committee, -winch ) should include twelve members of the ' Imperial Mineral Resources Bureau, lho j Director of Statistics should be on ex- .; pert statistician and administrator, with ; i salary equivalent to that of the per- , manent' secretary of a British State denartinent.
