NETWORK TO COVER THE EMPIRE
STATIONS FOR NEW. ZEALAND

London, March 9. Mnrconi's Empire 6cheme of a wireless network proposes trunk and branch routes covering the whole Empire, and all ships between latitudes CO degrees north and 50- degrees south, also a separate transmitting and receiving station for the purpose of duplexing, as well as arrangements for linking sea and air mobile stations with fixed stations chosen after consultation with tho fighting service. The proposals include Australian routes via Singapore and Vancouver, with two main, trunk stations each. New Zealand will be connected by a main feeder station, and there will bo feeder stations to each important city in the Commonwealth. All the employees except menials will be British-born.—"The Times."
