PRISONERS RECAPTURED

By Telegraph—Press Association. Whakatane, March 10. The two prisoners who had escaped by soiziug a policeman's motor-car wero recaptured at Rotoiti, bound for Rolorua. One was a Maori whose sentence for theft was to have expired next Saturday. the- other was a white man named Blastings, who was awaiting trial for theft. The car was recovered undamaged.
