Minister in charge of the office (Mr. Coates) that the association of a gentleman of his qualifications will have a marked ber.?ficial effect on the management and general conduct of such an important institution as the Public Trust Office now is. The Rev. Hugh Beggs has resigned from the charge of the Evans Bay Presbyterian Church on iccomit of ill-health. Messrs. H. W. Kcisley and J. G.
