Bulk honey ranges from 7d..t0 B|'d'. .according to colour and quality. ■ Section honey from Bs. to 9s. 'per dozen. Beeswax from 2s. to 2s. 3d. per 11)., but little offering. Wellington,-In the districts _ where honey -has been secured extracting is now in operation. . 'l'ho groat variation in tlie climatic. conditions over the North Island during the last few months lias lx?en responsible for patchy crops. Poverty Buy records a dead failure and Huwke's Bay is apparently very little better; Manawatu very good 'bo'far, as is also the lowor Wairarapa; Taranaki' very fair. Honey is 1 offering n't the apiary at prices approximately Is. per l'b. Beeswax scarce. ' ' Christchurch and Dunedin.—'The Benson, oil ..the whole, is not up to expectations. Changeable- weather nnd mild frost's havo militated against nectnr secretion, consequently the crop will be below average in many districts. Extracting is in progress. The quality of tho honey this season is excellent, as is usual when the clover pastures aro in Sjooil heart. In Southland prospects are brighter, and the latest reports indicate that a light, crop will be harvested. Prices are firm.. Bulk honey in new containers is quoted at 7d. to Bd.; sections 10s: Gd. to 12h. fid. per dozen. Pot honcy-*-noiie forward. Beeswax is scarcc, and is realising up to 2s. 3d. per lb.
