A meeting of throe hundred tennis players arid supporters carried a motion of no confidence in the new council, owilic to the unsatisfactory methods adopted for the election.—Press Assn. VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. (Rec. March 7, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, March 7. At the Victorian tennis championships, in the finals of the Men's Doubles, O'Hara Wood and Thomas beat Werthein and Hawke, G—3, 8-1, 6-8, 6-3. In the final of the Ladies' Singles, Miss Schlesinger beat Miss Addison, 6—J, 6—6, 6—3.—Press Aesn, (Rcc. March 8, 1.5 a.m.) Melbourne. March 7. In the final of tho Ladies' Doubles Championship Misses Addison vd Westmoreland beat Misses Moreton and Earnsworth, 6—2, 6—3.—Press Assn.
