VISIT OF BEAMISH AND LOWE.
Two of tho members of the British Davis Cup team, Beamish and-Lowe will arrivo in Wellington by tho Moernkt from Sydney about March 15 for tho purpose of plnyina a series of mutches prior to their return to England. The president of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association (Mr. H. Jf. (lorel stated yesterday that tho first match will ho against. a Canterbury provincial team at Chrislchurch about March 20. The visitors will then go on to Dunedin to piny an exhibition match niminst Ollivier, the New Zealand champion, nnd the best Otago player. Itetiii'iiinsr to Wellington they will meet n New Zealand tpnm, consisting of Ollivicr and Peacock, on Saturday, March 27, and on the Mime evening will he entertained at dinner by the New Zealand Association. The final match will be played in Auckland about April li against an Auckland provincial team.
