HEMP AND TOW
The following return shows the quantities of ,-hcmp and tow graded at tho ports of the Dominion during the month of February, 1920:— Hemp: The total number of bales graded was 10,909, >is compared with 13,433, for the corresponding month last year, a decrease of 24(54 bales. For the twelve months ended February 29, 1920, the number of bales graded was 93,095, as compared with 141,167 for the previous twelve months, a dccreaso of 48,072 bales. ' ■ Tow': The total number of boles graded was 2194, as compared with 1792 for the corresponding month last year, an increase of 402 bales. . For the twelve months ended February 29, 1920, the number of bales graded was 19,999, ns compared with 22,253 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 2284 bales,
