10-day will bo the big day of the year m yachting circles. Tho occasion is tho race by the Port Nichotson Yacht Club tor the Mills Clip, presented by the lato 111'. E. C. E. Mills, 0110 time commodore of the club. Last year this raco was won by Mr. E. Bucholz's Wairore 11. All the crack yachts of the harbour havo entered. A flying start will be made at 3 p.m. off Clyde; Quay. Wharf, thence, in a northerly wind; oulsido .Terningham Buoy to the Pinnacle Buoy off Seatoun, ICorokoro Buoy, Jerninghiim, and back to tho starting line. In a southerly wind yachts will keep inside Jerningham Buov, taking Korokoro next, then the Pinnacle Buoy, Jerningham, and home. . The entries are ns follow (handicaps, appear after tho nnme of each yaclit, the first being tho handicap for light weather,, tho second for moderate, tho third for heavy):—'Waitangi, scr., scr., scr.; Maraiigi, 3, 10, 13; Rona, 0, 10, 13: Kotiri, 7, 11, U; Wairere 11. 9, 13, 16; Atalanta, 10, 14, 20; Ailsa, 11, 15, 18; Wanderer, 15, 12, 15; Viola, 17, 23, 30.
