LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
- ——♦- ——- - THE WOOL PROFITS CUT Sir,-A foT days ago I saw a letter, in The Dominion signed "Primary Pro. ducer," discussing the wool profits. I quite agree with him that the whole affair was entered into.under a misapprehension. ' Nobody thought' the war would last so long or that tne profits would be so large. I thinlc the only, just way out .of the tangle now is for the Executive Committee to cancel all the notee of assignment -and return them, to .the givers. Then iet a; conference representing all tho woolgrowers decide' what would be a fair donation to the .Sailors' Fund, and. let it be. paid-out.of the profits befor" +here' : s any division. In that way all would pay, not just a few. All were protected equally by the Navy; all were benefited bv ■ the ■ work of the mercantile nu'ino, during the war, and all shouH. -w-1 am, etc;, ■ ' . BACKDLOCK. ,
