FIRST SERVICE TO WHANGAREI.

The first aerial mail service to Whangarei was carried out to-day, a great concourse greeting the arrival at Onerahi of a Kohiinarama seaplane carrying forty pounds of mail matter. Ideal conditions prevailed, the flight being successful in all' its aspects. The timo occupied by the journey from Auckland hour twenty minutes. The machine left on the return journey at 2.30 p.m.
