The Autumn Handicap has some smart mile horse? engaged, including Borealis, who, accordinir to some accounts, was unlucky on tho finst day, and 'Bagdad, each of whom meets Thursday's place-getters on improved terms. 'J'hero an some fresh \horses in the M'atarava Hack Handicap, six furlongs, including Buddy and Quiniro. both of whom may be in the market. Par.wmgi and Kinsem will keep anything in the race busy until th? nost is reached. Thß Jackson Stnfe has not got ihe classy field this time that it has drawn in previous Tears. Acre. Rieuso and. Canyon, who overshadowed the other youngsters on Thursday, may to-dav experience some troublo in (.linking off the well-bred Little Riner (MartianBlue Lake), who is in receipt of Bib.

The SVangaiim Stakwi is practically Hie Cup nm over again. Kilrush is up !21h. and Oratios3 61b. This should give Client,' who got n bad passage in the Can, a great chance, and Montoa. Ivanora should also he prominent. Haversack, winner of the Victory Welter, is amongst the field for (he Harrison Hack Handicap, run over the same distance. Hp beat a good field on the first day, and should show up again today.

If Arrowsmith goes to the post for the Farewell Handicap, he will ljo a good favourite, as he has already proved >Vs ability gallop on a. heavy h'a<;k. He is improving with eery race, and seems to master weight. Sw'anoe Kiver shoula be all the better for her race on the opening day, and she, top, is quito at home in heavy going.
