BRITAIN'S' LOANS TO ALLIES. London, February 19. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr. Grattan Doyle, Mr. Austen .Chamlvrlain. Chancellor of the Exchequer, said that Britain had loaned to Russia' for war purposes SGB millions, to France 4704 millions, to Belgium 86J millions, and to other Allies 71 millions, exclusive of advances for reconstruction. In the House of Lords, replying to Lord Buckmaster, Lord Hylton said that the total dead-weight debt of Great Britain on February 14 was 7913 millions, beine a reduction of eighty-five millions as compared with December 31, 1919. The debt due to the United States and to American citizens was 985 millions, nnd to other foreigners, including Japan and neutrals. 150 millions.—Reuter.
