(>ly Tele&raoh-Press Association.) Napfcr, February 22. The goods train frohi Wnipukurnu to Napier caiiio to grief on a curve on tlio Opapa grade at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning. Six wagons oC slicep were derailed and piled up, the balance of tha train pushing on over them. In all, ceven Bheep wagons and five containing chaff, timber, coal, etc., left tlio permanent way. . Many sheep were killed and maimed. No rnllwaymen wero injured. A. breakdown train was dispatched from Napier and tlio line was cleared by midnight on Saturday. Passengers by other trains had to 'be transferred past the obstruction, and in consequence traffic was considerably delayed. The cause of the accident is problematical.
