Tho Ngatiawn 1b still aground. _ The crow liavo been persevering in their efforts to tow the vessel off by means of lar"c anchors nnd cables attached to the learner's winches, but last night the cables parted. Captain Hammond as-sistant-manager for the Northern Steamship Company, is Auckland this morning aboard the Chelmsford, which will brinn: new gear. The weather is favourable. The tides arc improving, and the vessel Is undamaged.
