This wns similar to 0 the offer made at the recent Wellington B conference. This offer was not accepted to-day by the Freezing Works Federation, but it is understood that the companies intend \to pay the same rates ns were offered at the Wellington conforcnco, and pay the increnses in the existing agreement from February 1. Already one Christchnrch company li.ib decifted to pay tho increases from January 23.
