FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT i P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong oust to north winds, northward of New Plymouth and Napier, northerlies elsewhere. lVeatlwr warm and humid, fair to cloudy, but foggy at times, particularly in the northern, southern, and East Coast districts. The barometer has a falling tendency. Sultry conditions liavo prevailed, and the weather has been cloudy and misty at times, especially in the extreme north'and Eouth.
