I The advertised boxing exhibition by Urcn nt the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium last night had to ho.abandoned on account of the Australian champion's inability to catch Monday night's boat from Lyttelton. With tho assistance of Mr, Tim Traeey, ex-light-weight champion of New Zealand. Mr. M. Traeey, the Y.M.C.A, physical director, organised in its place a series of sparring exhibitions which were much enjoyed by llie 3CO persons present. Aftjr a tlirec-round bout wns put on by the Messrs, Traeey, a number of bouts were staged by pupils of Mr. Tim Traeey, ns follow: D. Nealo v. F. Desmond, Kelly v. Cousins. and Master.Clary Taylor v. Master Morgan. A physical development exhibition was'nlso given by Mr. Rawlinson.
