DECLINE OF EXCHANGE RATE
GERMANY PROHIBITS IMPORTA TION OF FOREIGN GOODS.
London, February 14. The Berlin correspondent of tho "Sundnv Express" states that, hoping to check tho disastrous decline of the exchange rate, the Government has decided to place a wholesale prohibition upon foreign importations, except of raw materials and certain licensed goods. It is intended rigidly to exclude luxuries.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
