The Harbour Board Committee has passed a resolution that Mr. William Ferguson, of Wellington,'bo requested to carry out the appointment of an engineering commission and tho means for securing tho necessary data to report to the board on harbour development and extension: sncli work to bo carried out as expeditiously and consistently as possible. The personnel of tho commission and its procedure is to bo left cutiroly, in tho hands of Mr. Ferguson.
