ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH
, The half-yearly returns presented at tho meeting of St. Andrew's Church managers showed a gratifying increa.-:c,all round. Tho church membership roll conta'ns 353 members, tho Bible classes 70, and the Sabbath school 144. The church offerings amounted to .£547 ss. 10d., and St. Andrew's Fund to X'lS3 lis. Gd. During- the last quarter the Manse in Hobson Street was sold, and a section purchased at 1!) Bolton Street for tho new Manse, which, is now proceeding. New, premises for a Bible Class Institute were acquired ,at 17 Bolton. Street, and are now occupied. Mr. E. J. Orange, of King's College, has directed the youth work with marked success, A campaign to secure new members for Sabbath school and Bible classes is at present ill progress. The Fife and Drum Band and Boy 'Scouts have again commenced v.ork. The Rev. Robertson Orr (minister) v-as away 011 extended leave for thre:j months, but has now resumed his ministry.
