Australian-Now Zealand Cable Association. London. February 11. At the current wool sales merinos are very ilrm; fine medium crossbrcda are also firm, and are being chiefly bought for the Hoim> trade. Shabby sortß are withdrawn. Klines and scoureds are unchanged. Prices are as follow:—"Minorm" (?). 71d.: "CW over 11. 96d.: "Millar Rock," 7Cd.: "Dingobell." 56! d. The Department of Aeric.'j.ltnre has r» ceived the following cablegram dated February 10. from the High Commissioner for New Zealand. London:-"Tenth series fiovernment. wool saleß have commenced: last night large -.ittcndnnco buyers: satisfactory competition. Compared with last series best, merinos, and fine crossbreds ruled at about closing rates. Medium and Inferior merinos. 5 per cent, cheaper. Coarser crossbreds netrleetcd: 140.000 balcß r-horn wools evnilable. P"r i es. of which Now Zealand 51.000. also 31,C00 on description, none of which is New Zealand." Messrs. Murray. Hoberts and Co. Ltd. have revived the following cablegram, dated February 9. from their. London n.jcnts. Messrs. Sanderson, Murray and Co.:—"Sales have opened. Crossbred medium. market shows no material 'happ-e:. crossbred fine, market shows no material chance: crorabred coarse, neglected, limit not being reached. Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., aro in receipt ef a cablegram from 'heir London lionee. urttlcr date of February 9. rending as follows:—"Wool sales opened with a fair selection. As compared with last sale's closing rates, good merino wools were very Arm, other descriptions qccasionally slightly easier. Fine crossbreds very firm; medium crossbred unchanged, whilst eoarse crossbred were negketed and mostly withdrawn from sale."
