FOUND IN A DRAIN
A MAORI'S 'DEATH.- . .(By Telegraph-Pleas Association.) Auckland, February 13. It. is reported from. Kaitaia that a Native named Weihemi, 25,. has been .found dead by the. police. He has been reported missing since last Saturday when, it is alleged, he was struck on the bead by another Maori during a quarrel. Inquiries'by Constablo.Calwoll, of Kaitaia, resulted .in, finding the body on Wednesday,- twenty, chains from the' Ktene of tho quarrel, in a.'draiu, iij 15 inches of .water.' The local police have questioned- the other Maori, whose name is unknown. \
