A DULL AFTERNOON

Ideal cricketing weather prevailed on Saturday, when the senior competitions wero continued. On the Basin Leservo East met Okl lloys, and Thorndon were pitted against North. Slow scoring was the order of the day, except in the caso of North, who secured over 200 at a loss of five wickets. Otherwise it was a dull afternoon. In the East v. 01:1 Boys match, East batted fir:-t, and aftor two hours ami a half at the wickets were all out for 205 runs.
