FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
WILKINS AND RENDLE WILL RESUME JOURNEY. (Rec. February 5, 0.50 a.m.) London, February 3. The aviators Wilkins and Rendle 'have returned to London from Suda Bay to
arrange for n new port engine for the Kangaroo machine. It is understood that the Air Ministry has several suitable engines at Cairo, but it is uncertain whether engines will he sent from England or Egypt. The airmen hopo to return to Suda Bay in a week to resume their journey as soon as possible. They travelled to England via Corfu in order to investigate Captain Howell's fate. It is understood that there will be no further official investigation into that accident. The authorities favour the theory that Howell wet a storm when returning to Taranto, and exhausted Ms petrol. The theory accords with tho British naval re-ports.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
