REMOVAL OF CZECHS
JAPANESE IN SIBERIA.
Tokio, February 3. The Japanese Minister for War, General Tanaka, in an interview, said that Japan's aim in Siberia was the, evacuation of the Czechs, 50,000 of whom required transport. This necessitated koeping the railways open. The Japanese would not tolerate interference from any quarter in this task, but would, endeavour not to interfere in Siberian politics. A Japanese evacuation of Siberia was unthinkable until the Czechs were removed. —"Times."
