Wairoa, February 4. Thomas Joseph Loggelt, a teturnet roldier, charged with stabbing Tom Alahaii"a a returned Maori soldier, at the Ferry Hotel North Clyde on Saturday last, was brought before Justices of tlw Peace and was committed for trial. Bail was allowed. Mahanga s wound is pot 6erious.
