It was resolved to gr«nt the application at a rtntal of „Cl 10s. per annum, subject to the usual conditions. It was resolved that the required improvements on sections-in Tnumaihi and Olovcrlea Settlements lie us follow:"Witliin twelve months from date of lea?e dweUinghouse and other buildings to the value of not less than .£250 to be erected and section ring-fenced. Further consideration was given to the adjourned application of Mr. 11. Adams for .1 temporary lease of section 74, Xormnndnlc Settlement, containing 1!0 acres 1 rood ;i:i perches. It was resolved to grant Mr. Adams a permit to gnzc the section from month to month under section 71 (b) of the Land for Settlements Act, J EOS, at a rento 1 of ss. a month, subject to the approval of the Minister of tenuis and /to the usual condition?.

The board was requested to offer the Thomas Alexander a renewal of Education Reserve lease over section 20, Block V, Omiiliine S.D., II) acres, for a further term of 21 years. Approved at a rental of 555. per annum. Charles 'Smith, holder of Education Reserve lease over sections 99, parts. 13 and IG, Block' XVI, Wairarapn/ -sked that he be allowed until the dairyiin; season is over to clear the sweetbriar off the leasehold. Approved. Tho Board was requestdc to offer the Cheltenham Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., a renewal for 21 years of Education Jieserve lease over section SI), liewa \ .S., 1 rood. Approved. The board was requested to appoint an appraiser to valuo small grazing run, section 12, Block XII, Maungakaretu S.D., 1)20 acres, the lease over which, held bv ]v:lwai<l Herbert Hyan, will expire oil Febrmuv 28, 11)21.
